FREQUENCY TO VOLTAGE CONVERTERS

Encore Electronics offers a complete line of frequency to voltage converters ranging from the economically priced and compact DIN rail mounted Model FL228 to the rack mounted Model 225.  For applications requiring performance between these two models, we now offer our FL236 DIN-rail packaged Digital Frequency/Voltage converter, featuring fast response time, low power and compact footprint.

Digital Frequency/Voltage (F/V) converters provide immediate signal updates, allowing you to measure pulse-to-pulse variation for applications such as gear tooth monitoring.  Additionally, our FL236 offers an innovative delta-T mode, in which analog output voltage represents pulse width variation from average measurement.  This can be particularly important when measuring angular deflection of a specific gear tooth or blade tip when combined with a 1/rev phasing signal.

The Model FL230 voltage to frequency converter compliments our entire line of F/V units, allowing analog voltage signals to be transmitted as 0-5V logic levels over existing digital transmission lines, including fiber optic.
