The Model 214 provides AC calibration to a strain gage bridge by switching a parallel resistor across any leg of the bridge at the selected frequency. The desired resistance is selected using the front panel  thumbwheel.   The Model 214 has a range of 0 to 9.999 Mega-ohms selectable in steps of 1K ohm. The front panel LED functions as a power indicator and  low battery indicator. If the battery voltage falls below 15.0 volts the front panel LED will go out indicating the need to change batteries.  The batteries are located in the easy access rear panel compartment for quick replacement.
